Specific Job Description
This individual will require a background in Software architecture,
System integration, CS and/or Unix/Server Administration. Past experience
as an analyst, librarian, and evangelist to enable development of effective
Web-based marketing programs is helpful. Specific responsibilities include:
1. Develop and maintain web pages, web based tools and
processes.
2. Research and evaluate success on Web reference sites.
3. Collect and analyze web statistics..
4. Manage web related projects of varying complexity and size.
5. Educate/Advise planners and authors on web based tools and processes.
Proficiency in HTML & Perl. Experience using Frame Sets, Cascading
Style Sheets, CGI, Java, JavaScript, and Unix is preferred.
Key skills for success in this position include oral and written
communication, research and analysis, leadership, and project management.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Marketing or other
relevant field.
This position requires significant hands on experience with
Internet/Worldwide Web tools and strategies. Recent college graduates with
limited experience but relevant course work will be considered.
Typical candidate will have 5-8 years of related experience.
Standard office environment. Considerable time may be spent at a
computer.
