Hi Whirlers,

here is one example for bad over-translation English to German in one of
the standard graphic programs:

"Left" became "Links" (meaning "left")

"Links" became "Verknuepfungen". (That would be correct, if "Links" is
English, but ...)

Nobody can understand it now, in German. Even the Short key was changed.
(There is no "L" in "Verknuepfungen". )

This is a kind of thing happening, if the native speaker does not
understand the program function, when translating or proof-reading.
