TECHWR-Lers:
Maury King wrote that the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, NC is "Redneck
Territory concealed by the quasi-cosmopolitan nature
of the Research Triangle Park." In a wicked sort of way, I'm glad he's
saying bad things about the area; maybe people will stop moving here in
droves--espcecially technical writers and wannabes.
As for me, I'm staying in what I see as the Land of Milk and Honey. On
the other hand, you should know that I moved here from Buffalo, NY.
Maury moved here from Israel. My expectations were much lower. ;-)
You don't want to move here...the traffic is terrible...there aren't any
jobs...and the climate is miserable... ;-)
Cheers.
