Hi Damien,
Can your demo package handle .PNG files? That format also supports
transparency. If you can work with .PNGs, you can set the transparent
colour in about two minutes with Paint Shop Pro 5.

A puzzler to all the graphics whizzes out there!
Our company logo is stylised version of the name (PAC). Very crudely it is
a box (half blue, half grey) with the name in white inside and with one
pair of opposit corners pared off. Now that you have, hopefully(!), an idea
of what it looks like to my question - is there any way to make the name
itself (the white bit) transparent? The reason I want to do this is that
I'm using on demo scenes and I'd like to use fancy backgrounds. Plain is
no problem - just change the white to the same as the background colour.
But with a fancy patterned background...??? I've been told to save it as a
gif and set white as transparent but the package we're using doesn't import
gifs. Any ideas anyone?
