Subject:"Canning" a Software Demonstration From:John Boland <JohnMethod -at- AOL -dot- COM> Date:Tue, 16 Feb 1999 14:21:23 EST
Hiya,
Does the list have any suggestions on "canning" a software application and a
smooth presentation into a robust, distributable demonstration?
The target evaluation environments are WinNT 4.0 sp3, Win95, and Win98, but
are really more-or-less uncontrolled. DLL Hell, you understand.... 8^{
Specifically, does anyone have experience with DemoShield from InstallShield
Software Corporation?
Please feel free to respond off-list with comments that may be "shamelessly
self-promoting" or flame bait. I am just looking for information and
appreciate all contributions.
Thank you very much.
