Subject:Re: "Canning" a Software Demonstration From:Dan Lewis <danlew -at- DELPHI -dot- COM> Date:Wed, 17 Feb 1999 08:31:24 -0500
John Boland asked about DemoShield for canning software.
I'm not exactly clear on what you mean by "canning" but I have found
DemoShield to be a reasonably robust and quite usable tool for fairly
extensive demos which include fairly extensive facsimilie sequences created
by capturing screens and mouse movements. At a previous employ I used
Macromedia Authorware for this task and was at first disappointed that it
would not be available to me any longer, but DemoShield surprised me; it's
not Authoware but it is quite powerful and the interface is rather well
designed (better designed than the InstallShield imho).
