Job Opening in Chicago, IL for a professional, experienced information specialist

 

Description: A global investment house needs an experienced programmer/author to participate on a security architecture team to prepare integration plans for a middleware/security layer.

 

Primary audience will be programmers and system integrators.

Secondary audience will be high end users trying to better understand the system (general documentation).

 

We need to document middleware services and architecture in such as way as to allow a knowledgeable developer to integrate with complex security systems with a minimum amount of assistance. We will be documenting custom code in C and Java as well as doing best practice documentation for off-the-shelf API's and libraries.

 

Experience with PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) isn't really necessary, though some exposure to middleware sevices such as Pub/Sub/Corba/DCOM would be highly desirable.

 

Skills: C, Java; Experience with Pub/Sub/Corba/DCOM would be highly desirable.

Job Duration: Contract: Fulltime, onsite; 6 months

Job Location: USA: Chicago, Illinois; Onsite: Downtown

Citizenship: USA preferred

Security: Non-disclosure agreement required
