Subject:Problem with Screencam From:"MacLemale, Laura A." <Laura -dot- A -dot- MacLemale -at- BENDER -dot- COM> Date:Wed, 23 Jun 1999 14:04:45 -0400
Hello,
I am a fairly recent addition to the List and to the field of technical
writing. This week I have had a problem using Lotus Screencam in Windows
3.1. We are creating our latest tutorial with Screencam on a 3.1 machine
with settings 640 x 480, 256 color. The captions were created with a new
16-color bitmap image that resembles our blue logo.
The problem is this: The captions show up normally at first, then shift to
either black or green. There seems to be no general consistent pattern as
to the unusual color changes.
We have experimented with different print drivers and even different
machines with similar results. The first eight (8) screencams I made were
fine. It is not until these last four (4) that I have had this problem.
We are on a tight deadline, and I would appreciate any help with this.
Please respond off-list, as I am on digest. I will summarize any findings.
Thank you,
Laura MacLemale
