You probably already know this, but a pretty good way to troubleshoot JavaScript is to try to run it in Netscape. When the script doesn't work, which happens (heh, heh) occasionally, type "javascript:" (without the quotes) into the address window (or location bar, or Netsite field, or whatever it's called). You'll get a display highlighting the error and telling what line(s) you need to fix.
This probably doesn't qualify as a true "JavaScript validator" like HomeSite's HTML validator, but it's helped me find a lot of bugs.
