TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
First, thanks to all of you who responded to the question about the
importance of Technical Writing courses or even degrees. I was interested
to read the many thoughtful, helpful responses. And I didn't see a flame in
the bunch, though I was warned about that possibility.
On a personal note, I will be off-list for the next week. I'm going to take
my wife away for a nice little vacation trip. Continue to be nice to each
other while I'm gone. <g>
