Hi. I'm (as of this posting) an ex-lurker on this list.
I just received the latest issue of the STC's Intercom magazine. It contained, among other items, a list of the winners of the STC's 1999-2000 scholarship for technical communication students. All of the winners were from the United States.
I'm considering applying for the scholarship next year. Do any of you techwr-lers know how many, if any, non-US Americans have won the scholarship before? Do the people responsible for awarding the scholarships have much familiarity with tech. comm. education in other countries?
Any and all info / insights appreciated!
Kevin.
