Hey! I happen to like it! :-)
In fact, I stole a bit of schtick from somebody on this
very list (and thanks, but I don't remember the name, now),
and put it on a sign at the entrance to my office:
--------
SEE
The DOCUMENTALIST...
Bend words with only the power of the mind!
Make paper disappear with a few deft strokes of the keyboard!
----------
I thought of installing a couple of Hollywood-surplus,
swiveling klieg lights, to play across the ceiling, but
the boss sez he won't pay for all the extra electricity.
Maybe I can do something with flashlights on strings...
By the way, when I remove my Documentalist turban and the
satin cape, I revert to my regular identity -- a mild-mannered
technical writer and now workplace safety maven.
(Yeah, I know, but somebody suggested that I leave out the
"heart of gold" part... it's assumed, isn't it? :-)
