and other details that seem pertinent.

If you are on rounds, between guard posts, when the alien lands:
1) Quickly do a visual scan, noting size, shape, type-and-rate of
motion and
other details that seem pertinent.
2) Note any indications of possible hostile intent.
3) Sprint to the phone in the nearest guard shack.
4) Press the second speed-dial button -- the one below the "Gino's
Pizza" button.
5) Try to be coherent, while presenting as much of your report as
possible,
before you are vaporized.
6) If you manage to complete your report, order pizza. Either you will
die shortly,
but with a comfortably full stomach, or you will have some of Gino's
excellent
pizza to offer to the alien. What the heck -- you might as well
order beer with
that, too.
If you are on duty in the control room when the alien lands:
1) Press the big red button
2) No other action is required in this situation.
