Hello,
Yesterday I posted a message to the list asking for your advice on good
Photoshop training courses on the U.S. east coast. It came to my attention
that I may have left out a few details as to what we're looking for in such
a training course. (Thanks to Carl Young for asking for the specifics that
we are looking for in such a course.)
Basically, we want a training course that is not necessarily intended for
graphic artists but for people who may use Photoshop to create or enhance
graphics to be used in online documentation. Specifically, we would like a
course to include the following information:
*basic graphic formats (includes reformatting existing graphics)
*creating layers in Photoshop for graphic images that we can use in other
applications
*color management skills
*altering existing images in Photoshop
We would like to know if any of you have had experience with relevant
Photoshop training courses on the east coast. We have brochures from
several companies that offer these courses, but we are requesting
recommendations for the most comprehensive Photoshop training based upon
your experiences. Two people who have used Photoshop on a limited basis
will attend this training.
Any recommendations you may have would be greatly appreciated. Please send
them to me directly or cc me at Laura -dot- A -dot- MacLemale -at- bender -dot- com, as I'm on
digest. Again, I would be happy to share a summary with interested list
members.
As always, TIA,
Laura A. MacLemale
