Hello,
For anyone interested, here is the info I received on Photoshop training in
our area. We have been reviewing pamphlets describing courses from CompUSA,
Microknowledge, and Ikon. I'd like to thank all of you who responded to our
request for info.
I received the following responses to my request:
1. Bright Path Solutions offers training: "Information regarding Photoshop
training is posted at http://www.travelthepath.com/training/training.shtml. A PDF is also
available via email upon request."
2."Try the local colleges in the area. Typically, Photoshop classes taught
by colleges through "continuing education" or 'adult education' areas
are cheaper, and are sometimes taught at night."
3. "You might want to try CompUSA."
4. Taz Tally seminars were recommended: See http://www.tazseminars.com
5. "...the Masters of Science in technical communications at Rensselaer
Polytechnic Institute...an excellent course...called Publication Practicum."
6. For photo manipulation: "May I suggest graphic workshop (I believe it's
shareware) and for an automatic color adjusting, please check into
"autoeye"."
Some of you responded with offers to personally answer specific questions
concerning Photoshop--please know that your generous offers are appreciated!
This list is a great resource.
Thank you again,
Laura A. MacLemale
