RE: Hobbies on a résumé (one blow to the dead horse)

Susan says, "When I first
learned to construct a resume, I learned to put in a section that
included height, weight, age, marital status, health assessment, ..."
Some of us are old enough to remember those days. When I got my first
full-time job as an adult, I lied to get the job. One of the questions was,
"Do you get menstrual cramps?" Even then, I thought it was none of their
business.
I was also denied a job as an apprentice electrician because I was a woman.
One of the questions I was asked was, "How can you possibly carry a 50-pound
tool box?"
Thank goodness, the world has changed.
