Jumping out mid-contract is bad form, and possibly bad
news. If it's a CONTRACT job, then you have to fulfill
the contract. You can't skip out unless your work
extends beyond the bounds of the contract, in which
case you can argue fault against the client and
nullify the contract. Otherwise, you've promised the
work as laid out in the contract.

Seeing as you have about 2 months left, and it takes
at least a week to get in to an interview, and
anywhere from a week to 4 weeks to get an offer after
the interview... well, in this market I don't think
you have too much to worry about regarding immediate availability.
