Re: Procedure writing: a resource or two
It's been a while, but I recall some discussion about why proposal writing
isn't taught in schools or mentioned in textbooks and some interest
expressed in proposal-writing resources. A recent article (and book cited in
that article) should help those seeking information:
Actually, my tech writing certification program included an entire (required) class about writing proposals and similar documents. Personally it wasn't really my thing, but I have that knowledge to fall back on should I ever need it.
I just have to chime in occasionally and point out that there is at least one tech writing program that was extremely good and helpful ;)
