I need some feedback on the differences/similarities between
the definitions of these two words as they would be used by
a technical writer when discussing distributed/technical computing

any discussion is appreciated, I have asked several groups
and I have not received a good differentiation or contrast
between the definitions of these two words as they apply to
the field of computing or distributed information systems

thanks
frank
