Subject:Using graphics without breaking the law From:Kirsten Zerbinis <salmonzerbinis -at- rogers -dot- com> To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- raycomm -dot- com> Date:Thu, 7 Nov 2002 10:42:04 -0500
Hi all. I'm a sort of new tech writer. I'm at the graphics and layout
phase of my project. I'm a writer, not a graphic designer, so creating
complex graphics is beyond me. I can make and edit screen caps, and I
think I could do a little !-in-a-yellow-triangle, but nothing more
complex than that.
I want to know how I can find graphics - clip art, really - that I can
use without attribution. Can I use the MS Word clip art? I could use
some advice. Hiring a graphic artist is not an option, for both time
and money reasons.
Thanks.
