After experiencing different problems with Word 2002/Acrobat (4.x and
5.x), I installed Word 2000 _alongside_ Word 2002.
This lets me use the (few) features of Word 2002 that I find useful, and
also to create PDFs with no hiccups.
If you follow this route, bear in mind that you will have to install
Acrobat *after* Word 2000, which means you will probably have to
uninstall Acrobat first. (If you try his and run across any problems,
please contact me off-list and I will see if I can help.)
