The problem with perf review and staying late is that I've seen managers who
were so limp-spined that they knew that if they dinged an employee for not
working additional hours, that person would scream bloody murder to whoever
would listen, inside and outside the company, that the company was
discriminating against them even though they did their job according to
requirements. After all, they were required to be there 8-5, and they
complied with that...so what's the problem?
