Worked for a VAR as technical sales support. Supported 5 young sales people
with proposal writing, application development, technical presentations. Was
directly responsible for a 4X increase in system sales, with 2 each the
previous 3 years, 7 the first year of support. Worked Saturdays. Sundays.
During the week, let the cleaning people OUT. Did it because I wanted to.
Bonus time...envelope please. $25.00. Gave it back with note that it was
"totally inappropriate". Fired. As I was being escorted out, walked past one
of the above sales people who had tears in his eyes.
