I use an inexpensive HTML editor called CoffeeCup
(http://www.coffeecup.com/). It costs $49.00, ships with various script
examples and multiple preview options, and in general produces clean
HTML. I prefer working in an editor that shows me the code. It's a
relatively painless way to learn HTML.
