Re: Microsoft pays dear for insults through ignorance
I found it amusing that, in an article about mistakes, the fourth paragraph starts with this sentence:
The company has now launched geography classes for its staff
to avoid further bloomers which have caused embarrassment and
cost money on a grand scale.
And the problem with that sentence is what, exactly? "Bloomer" is UK English for "blooper." (And Joe Blow is Joe Bloggs.)
I was also surprised to learn that Microsoft Office 97 had replaced the Windows 95 operating system, at least in India.
As was I.
UK English again, mate.
To mention just one of the grammatical errors in the article, the title should've been "Microsoft Pays Dearly..."
