I would also watermark every
single page of the review doc with something to that effect in the event
of printing or copying.
I second that. Even with a watermark, you will find some idiot sending out copies some "friend" who has "given them their word they won't send it to anyone else" only to have both existing and potential customers calling several weeks later about something they found in the "new" manual. If you have "PRELIMINARY" in light gray or red at a 45 degree angle across each and every page, covers included, it won't stop those idiots from sending our copies, but at least the recipient gets the idea not to trust the contents just yet.
Incidentally, those idiots are not always marketing types. Engineers, software developers and even fellow TWs are just as guilty.
