Re: Techwhirlers, re: rude email
Not to split hairs but let's be honest, Mexico is primarily Catholic and VERY different from India. Having been to India, I have been hit on when teaching English, but they are a very respectful people. They're taught manners and consideration for others in ways other countries, especially the States can't even understand. The States are more discriminatory than India, IMO. Consider the environment, you can't compare Mexico to India, by any stretch of the imagination.^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
My question still remains the same, why are we NOT hearing about her qualifications and where she'll be: living, what the conditions are, what part of India will she be in, expectations for her work, etc. Instead we're hearing about her looks. I find that very off topic for techwhirler. Perhaps whomever is suggesting India should be whom she speaks with, instead of techwhirler.
"Cute" is what annoyed me the most. How does she *know* she's cute? It's completely arrogant and superficial. And inappropriate, IMO, for this list.
Let's stick with the FACTS, not what she *thinks* of herself. If her date in her email address is her birth year, 1977, then she still has a lot to experience.
Back to Donnie Darko for the third time, can someone please explain this film to me?????

I didn't find it rude, but, rather, frank and practical. My sister, who is fair, tall, and attractive had a terrible time traveling in Mexico. If she'd known what was in store, she would have dyed her hair black and dressed differently.
