who has reached the age of 25. We just want to be able to use his work
without a lot of editing.

Extensive editorial feedback, patience and time.

In order to get him to the point where you can use his work *without*
a lot of editing, you are going to have to *do* a lot of editing and
rewriting of his work and also explain to him why you made the
editorial changes and choices that you made; if he's a quick learner,
all the better.

There are no quick fixes for this situation.
