When I was starting lo these many years ago.  (Peter, please stop
repeating "many" under your breath.)...

I unashamedly admitted my addictions to crossword and jigsaw puzzles
under "hobbies".  Included "Girl Scout Leader" or omitted it depending
on my understanding of the corporate culture after some preliminary
research.

Crosswords implied the proper obsessive-compulsive relationship to
language.

Jigsaws implied an ability to solve problems without getting upset.

I included Girl Scout Leader if I thought they were looking particularly
for somebody who knew how to play by the rules in a very structured
environment; left it out when applying to fly-by-their-seats dot coms in
the '90s because they might misinterpret that experience as too
conservative for their taste.

Peter, you can stop repeating "many" now.
