Thanks to all the responses I got that mentioned SnagIt, I broke down and
got it ... and then discovered some of the other wonderful things it does
- like add captions as part of the picture (another PITA when putting pics
up on the web, and capture long pages - even as editable text!
Thanks ... a good expenditure of $29.95 (academic discount!).
