Point #1--If you read what I wrote I DO currently have two books. It would
be better to have one book.

Point #2--I don't think the problem is the graphic in the anchored frame. I
think the problem is the background rectangle of the same color as the
graphic with the hole cut out to hold the graphic. This object is not a
graphic in an anchored frame. It is this big rectangle that goes across the
whole top of the book cover page from edge to edge.

Point #3--I could maybe convert the BMP to a TIFF. But politically it is
hard to change anything here "that has always been done this way."
Especially if there is no way to figure out WHY the original decision was
made. We still use Adobe 6 to make our PDFs. Really...I can't go there.

Point #4--Yes. But it is what it is.
