Actually, I have more than one Gmail account. One is for various mailing
lists. The other grabs everything from another email account and them I Imap
that to Outlook. I started to filter that account through Gmail because the
spam filter is superior to Outlook's. I expected to continue reading in
Outlook but have discovered that I nearly always use Gmail for reading and
replying. Theoretically I could have Gmail grab several email accounts into
one gmail account.

BTW, if you use Google Gears you can look at your email offline.
