Hello, group:
Whenever I have a question about word or term usage I google each of the
options. I assume that the term(s) with the most hits is/are the one(s) that
is/are most frequently used and therefore will be more familiar to my
audience.
Here are the results for the options we're discussing:
So, white paper (two words) and datasheet (one word) are the most commonly
used iterations.
