Could be any of your suggestions, but remember rule #1 when working with
Word:
It's not a question of if, but when and how much a Word file will be
corrupt.
If you could give us a bit more information about what the problem is,
operating system, Word version (I know, it's Word 2003), and any more
details about the problem you're experiencing, that would be helpfull...
