If they only have Scouting (Eagle Scout, or whatever, any Scouting
accomplishment) or some similar stuff, leader in charitable or religious
organization, that can help. It's good to be able to show honesty and
cleanliness if that's all you have. As my wife said, when trying to hire
a lab tech, "If one of them would come in wearing a clean shirt, I'd
hire him."
