Although gainfully employed and not looking, my resume is floating around in
cyberspace in dozens of places, and I get a lot of recruiter inquiries based
on my Linked In profile. For years I had listed "Arbortext Epic Editor"
experience ... I had to remove "Epic" because there is a radiology device of
the same name. I was being pelted with "job offers" from recruiters whose
email said, "after close examination of your resume, it is clear that you
are a perfect fit for this position in radiology at so-and-so medical clinic
in Pennsylvania" (I live in Oregon). Obviously a lot of these clowns just
live on keyword search and don't even look at your address.
