TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
I like that the archives are searchable. I think there are a lot of
valuable discussions and I like to re-read those on occasion. Some of
them may get a dated and make predictions about technological
advancements that may or may not have come true. Some discussions
involved me and I like to "remember" what I said. Searching the
archives online provides me a good resource for finding information that
I remembered from long ago. It is also good to see my email address
associated with a group discussion related to the profession of
technical communications.
