I looked at several of the links that a search for Futura Thin brings up. None seem to be a reputable font vendor, and some look too shady for me to visit. The link you provided, for instance, immediately attempts to download/run FuturaThinFontInstaller.exe -- um, no-o-o.
Nobody seems to specify a foundry for this font. It appears to be one of the thousands of cheap-junk free TrueType fonts floating around, and I wouldn't use it for my product's documentation -- but I guess that's your client's decision.
