One of the great things about this list in its going on *19* year history is that its members tend to moderate themselves and each other. I have only been on the list for, I think, a little over five years. People on this list will often comment on the impressions we have of each other's posts and not wait for a moderator to step in. Sometimes, comments are sent to the moderators, but usually, regulars on this list can discuss these matters and resolve them without intervention.

Various off-topic discussions can be taken up on the chat list, but this particular discussion, with some pointed observations and rants that look discriminatory, should probably not be on any list.
