Students are invited to compete for twelve $2000 scholarships
to be awarded by the Society for Technical Communication (STC)
for the 1994-95 academic year. Details follow.
Purpose
-------
To assist students who are pursuing established degree programs
for careers in some area of technical communication.
Eligibility
-----------
Full-time graduate students working toward a Master's or Doctor's
degree in technical communication. Students must be full-time
students for the full academic year.
OR
Full-time undergraduate students having upper class standing in a
two- or four-year degree program in technical communication.
(Freshmen may apply if they will be sophomores during the 1994-95
academic year.)
Scholarship Awards
------------------
Twelve awards of $2000 (U.S.) each will be granted. Six awards are
reserved for graduate students and six for undergraduate students.
Application Deadline
--------------------
Applications must be received no later than February 15, 1994.
Notification will be made by mail no later than April 15, 1994.
