I ditto John Sander's comments. We use Frame in a combination UNIX/PC
environment, and we have a conversion tool that will convert files
between various formats--among them are Frame and WordPerfect. The conversion
isn't perfect (partly because the filters convert to Frame 2.x, which
has no table capabilities), but for documents with minimal formatting, it
works well enough. The built-in filter with the PC version of Frame is very
nice--tables are converted smoothly. As for exporting FROM Frame TO WordPerfect,
however, I'm not sure if the PC filter goes thatta way.... (I use the UNIX
version at work, so I can't check it out right now).
I have Frame4 at home; I'll experiment with exporting and let you know....
BTW, the UNIX-based conversion tool is called Filtrix, from a company
called Blueberry Software. It's kludgy, but it's better than nothing. Let
me know if you'd like an address or phone # for them.
