Hi folks,

I work in an academic library in Melbourne, Australia,  and we have quite a
substantial collection of database compact discs that frequently get updated.
The policy is to destroy superceded discs, but somewhere in the murky depths
of my memory I vaguely recall reading or hearing about an organisation
somewhere that actually recycles compact discs.  Does anyone know of any such
organization either in Australia or in the USA (the headquarters of one CD
product we subscribe to is based in Massachussetts - oops, spelling?).

I'd be grateful of any helpful info.
