Here at the Big Yellow Box, we used EBT's (Electronic Book Technologies)
product to put our SGML (Standard Generalized Markup Language) files of
services documentation on-line for PhotoCD products. Since each PhotoCD
workstation has a CD-ROM drive, it seemed logical, practical and efficient
to deliver the documentation on-line on CD.
Also, I know that Catepillar, Inc., of Peoria, IL does the same thing
(uses SGML to deliver service documentation on-line on CD), but they use
a vendor other than EBT. EBT is based in Providence, RI. I'm working on
getting a contact name and phone number; I'll forward it when I get it.
