Subject:More on "Boat" versus "Cassette" From:Scott Cluff <SCLUFF -at- VAX -dot- MICRON -dot- COM> Date:Tue, 10 Jan 1995 16:39:00 MDT
I should mention one other thought about my "boat" versus "cassette" problem:
We are talking about changing the thinking of hundreds and hundreds of
operators and other Production employees. It's possible that it will take
a long time to get the "street talk" to change even if we do make sure that
all 2000+ in-house procedures use the terms "boat" and "cassette" correctly.
[] Should we let the masses rule, knowing that they may not ever change anyway?
[] If we try hard enough and work smart enough, using good public relations as
we go, is there hope for changing the thinking of such a large group?
