The original message was quite clearly a mistake, but, hey, we all make
mistakes! With one click of the mouse button (button 1 :-) ) it's gone.
Then this lands in my mailbox...
This list is (supposed to be, correct me if I'm wrong) a professional discussion
list, but having subscribed (admittedly mostly quietly) for about 6 months, I've
found it increasingly irksome to wade through the waffle and idle speculation to
pluck the fruit from the chaff.
Personally, I think the content of this list over the last few months serves as
a somewhat damning indictment of the current state of our profession (I've been
interviewing recently and the quality of even very experienced tech. writers has
been worryingly poor). I shall shortly be unsubscribing from this list (once I
see if anyone says anything about this post).
