Companies buy our products because we are a recognized leader in our
small,
specialized market: they are buying our expertise as well as our
machines
and software.
When I write "Ohio recommends...", I am providing information based on
the
experience and knowledge of our trainers, service techs, or engineers:
Somebody at Ohio tested this and recommends this as the best way to get
the
best results.
By putting our name in the statement, we're saying that we The Company
stand
behind our products and those who use our product. My deeply held
conviction
is that a company's products are only as good as the operators/users of
the
product. Anything Ohio can do to make the user more efficient and
productive
will make us look good the next time their company needs to purchase new
equipment. So I include "Ohio recommends..." as often as I can (which
isn't
very often, but that's another thread on intercompany communication!)

Jessica,
I agree with you, but Printronix OEMs equipment to some 12 other
companies. If we were to follow your process, we would probably add some
six to eight days to our document process cost and schedule.
Sincerely,
