Agencies and companies posting jobs are doing us a favor. Yes, they are
filling a position, but a favor can be a two way street. We don't get
THAT many jobs posted where it's causing us that much time to hit the
delete key...maybe twice a day? How many positions are we not being
exposed to because they know that someone, somewhere is going to jump on
them?
Often.
I know it happens because I've spoken to agencies that are looking to
have VERY good positions filled and when I've suggested that they post
to the list, specificaly told me that they'd rather not because they
didn't want to get flamed.
Which is cool since when they call me direct, I've refered them to other
writers directly....do you have any idea how much agencies are paying
for referal fees? How'bout 4 figures to the left of the decimal point.
Let's lighten up and just hit the delete key.
