>Has anyone used DemoShield to create a CD Browser or Tutorial? I'm
researching now and wondered what everyone else uses to create a CD Browser
for a CD that has several products to install on it. Also, wondering if
it's a good thing to use to create a Tutorial of if I should stick with
RoboHelp and HTML for that...
I can confidently recommend DemoShield for producing a CD frontend. It is
really easy to use once you get your head around the weird UI. The thing I
like the best about DS is the fact that you can use it to create a CD that
will autorun and play on almost any PC.
I have use Demoshield to create product overviews before, and it can be used
to launch Lotus Screencam files which are useful for software demos. As for
a tutorial? I suppose it depends on how complex it is: Demoshield does not
handle large quantities of text very well.
