My two cents on this thread:
If you don't respond to an ad, the odds of finding work through it are zero. All I know is things must be looking up. I posted an ad on the techwr-l site on and a paid ad in the techwr-l premium job announcements and have yet to receive a single inquiry, let alone a résumé.
