If I'm guessing right, a process architect designs processes so that they're both efficient to use (for the user) and efficient to create and maintain (for the programmer).
That's interesting. My initial reaction was that a process architect is a staff functionary in a process-driven organization, someone who designs process templates for product development/software development organizations to use in managing their projects.
This only goes to show that your initial reaction--we don't know enough to respond--is an accurate insight.
